The Importance of Quality Tooling
It is essential to have stable quality tooling during stamping. The better the stamping tooling you use, the higher the efficiency you will achieve. Upon receiving your product design and production demand/project cycle requirements, MASIX will provide you with a suitable tooling solution, starting from tooling material, fabrication method, standard elements, and detecting sensors. Stamping tooling is completely finished in-house from design to fabrication, assembly, and trials.

- Die sets: EN39
- Die plate: Punch plate, die plate & stripper plate use SKD11/D2/M2 material with cryogenic treatment.
- Inserts: Precision blanking punch & die use carbide material like KD20/VD45.
- Standard Elements: (MISUMI)

JS MASIX has over 20 technicists, including 5 senior engineers with over 20 years of working experience, who focus on new project development. All processes strictly follow ISO9001 procedures. The stamping tooling process can be tracked per internal SOP, formulated and revised according to customer requirements and international practices. A continuous training procedure is conducted for individual workers, covering stamping production, tooling making, maintenance, and tooling assembly.

Can you make the tooling based on our standard?
Yes, we can follow your tooling standard. Please share with us your tooling details. That our engineer will design as the same.
Do you have in house tool room?
Yes, we have our own tool roo, Can fully meet fabrication demand, and process strictly controlled.
How can we confirm the tooling design?
Once order confirmed, we will provide strip layout design for initial approve, then move to tooling assembly design, once confirmed then provide whole tooling design for final confirm. Everything ok, then release for fabrication.
How can you maintain tooling schedule?
In our company we process each tooling as a project, PM control whole things and nominated engineer, tooling maker. They work as the team until tooling transfer.
On other hand, every friday we will update tooling status, each process controlled. And tooling lead time involved with project team members KPI.
Does tooling match the design?
Tooling matchs the design. Before transfer, we’ll check the entire tooling and revise the drawing, make sure any modifications during die trails, are been revised.
How do you pack the tooling?
Tooling well packed by plywood box. And fixed inside. Enclosed our tooling packing SOP for your review, please check.
All the toolings we ship overseas, without any issue.
Can you support for pilot production?
Yes, we can arrange pilot production based on your request. Pilot production quality control per Masix process management. Inspection reports can be provided as the same.
